I hope you will soon add it to the Alemmo.com reviews-page, it doesn't have any links to reviews to sites that people who don't play adventure games would recognize. I'm sure that people would feel that a more known place like Gamezone would be less biased to this fantastic genre of games and hence give the review more weight in their judgment.

Very interesting to read what you all have done. I would'nt have guessed there was that much work to be done on each picture.

I'm also thinking that perhaps I should change my username, did'nt know there was a Daniel on the team, and I'd hate to have people confuse him with me.

I'm sure they do trust us, but in retail...like when you pre-order a movie DVD, or something from a chain-store, you're told the expected release date -- when the product is expected to ship.  I just found it unusual that there's no mention of it.  Next week?  Next month?  By Christmas?  

Hmmm. I guess it might be a bit unusual not to tell when its going to ship. From what I've read I'd assume it to be quite soon. I do preorder some great games a long time before they are out, for instance I ordered Civilization 4 about a half year before it was released and Unreal Tournament 2007 I ordered last fall - lol. Then again I order these games from a store which wont charge my card before they ship the product. Like with Al Emmo there were many previews etc released on the web so I'm assured that the games are going to be good, and I could cancel them if I wanted. With Al Emmo I made a small gamble, since I ordered it before I tried the demo, but had to do it since they promised goodies

Very nice of you to include the CD in the LE. I still think it was fairly priced at it was, and now a very good value for my money.

I noticed you have'nt yet updated the alemmo site, there it does'nt say that the CD is included. Also in the store where the the contests of the LE box are listed at the bottom of the page it does'nt say anything about the CD.

I do hope the digital download comes through, since for the regular edition box International customers will need to pay 50% in shipping charges, and in my country I might need to pay an additional 22% taxes and customs duties - which makes the total costs twice as high as just paying for a download.

At the moment, it's looking like all shipments will originate from Georgia.

That site is beautiful. Very nice work Eriq! I already ordered the LE, I was a bit suprised that there was no option to bundle it with the sound track, like with the regular edition. Seems odd that people who buy the LE would need to pay more for the CD than those that buy the bundled regular...

I don't usually buy music, but the background music on the Al Emmo site made me think that I could listen to the CD when playing games that have regular crappy music

Oh, and I'll try seeding the Demo-torrent on my 10Mb line whenever I keep my computer on, although it seems very fast as it is - got .5MB/s when I downloaded  

Digital River provides these kinds of services to some large corporations like Symantec (Norton AV etc). I'm not sure how they relate to small business' though... I think there are some similar ones that are used by smaller companies. Certainly they'll take a commission, but still it would be a very viable option for International customers.  

I think Valve's Steam can be used by other game sellers too. I think some shareware sites might also offer these kind of services.

Someone mentioned having a Torrent download, but that seems a bit silly since then there would'nt be any means of controlling that the users have paid for the game.

Edit: I did a quick google with "buy shareware" and it seems there are quite a lot of these places. One that I recognized was http://www.regsoft.com/index.shtml - which seems to be owned by that Digital River company.

So if your interested in having a Digital Download then it would probably make sense to outsource that to a company that has the bandwith and possibility to accept all kinds of payments. Just check how much they take in commision and try to make sure they are a reputable company - for instace by checking who their customers are and asking if they've been happy with the service.
