I was all excited to preorder the game until I saw the shipping.  $12 for the cheapest shipping method?!?  I only live in Florida.  There is something really wrong with your distributor if they are charging that much.  No thanks.

From the June 7th newsletter:

Al Emmo will be available on CD-ROM for purchase in our online store at the official Himalaya Studios website.  Additionally, after receiving rave reviews from beta testers, we have decided to sell others goods such as the original soundtrack created by Tom and Dianne Lewandowski of Quest Studios!  We have also made negotiations with the Just Adventure Store to offer our game for sale there as well.  We'll announce the news once the official Himalaya Studios Store is open for business via email, so be prepared to start shopping in the coming weeks!

When the demo comes out, definitely contact sites like Gamershell, 3Dgamers, GameSpot, Filefront, and Worthplaying and have them host it for you.  Not only will this save you bandwidth, but the demo will give you major exposure by being on so many major sites.

I don't know how all of this works.  Just making suggestions.

So are you guys planning on releasing a downloadable demo?

You could always have sites like Gamershell, 3Dgamers, GameSpot, and Worthplaying host it for you.

Whenever any adventure game has a demo, it is almost always downloadable from those sites.

I contacted an Admin at GameSpot about the game and they were kind enough to put up a gamespace.
