A QFG-style hybrid would be great. Doesn't have to be fantasy though, I'd be happy with a sci-fi or a mystery as well. (Gotta agree with coroloro on Al Emmo though, it was a good game but I'm just not a big fan of the genre.)

On the interface: I'm not a big fan of everything having a description. It's nice, but I'm ultimately only going to see a small portion of the text that's written for background objects. Of the adventures I've played - haven't played many recent ones though - Grim Fandango's hotspot system is probably one of my favorites. (Thing is, GF's worked well because it was entirely keyboard, so you actually had to move around to investigate rather than just mouse over stuff. Not sure it would work that well for point-and-click.)

It's cool to hear Al Emmo is out in Europe. ;)

Mine apparently shipped the 9th, but I pre-ordered in late August, only a few weeks ago. Assuming complimentary copies went out the first day, that is a bit odd.

Congratulations! It looks like you guys have reached the end of quite a long road!

I would go check my mail, but I think it would be a little much to hope it's already arrived. ;)

I've been reading about how there will be no download option due to the hefty server load that would be involved. IIRC it was also mentioned somewhere that Himalaya is looking into other options for offering a download. So, just in case you guys haven't heard of them, I thought I'd mention Stardock's totalgaming.net. I honestly have no idea what it's like on the developer's side and whether it would be a good deal for Himalaya, but as a customer I've been quite happy with my experience purchasing, downloading, & updating Stardock's own GalCiv2 (which is pretty hefty in file size) through it.
